i noticed that if you set your maximum posted entry to 1 in the blog control panel, you still have two entries displayed on your default page for your blog

The blog mod that I installed was discontinued and never left beta. Might be some unfixed bug. I already downloaded a better version thats supports entry transferring so we dont have to start over and the blogs look a lot better, but I need to upgrade to phpBB3 which I can't really do yet since I don't have a template in mind. 
Still I'm hoping to make the blogging better including the URLs of the blogs
